International bazaar raises €20k for Plan Ireland

16 Nov. 2008 - Plan Ireland was the main beneficiary of an “International Charity Bazaar” which took place in the D4 Hotel, Ballsbridge.

The event, which was organised by members and friends of the Dublin Diplomatic Corps, involved stalls offering food, beverages and crafts from over 40 different countries. It was very well supported with almost 3,000 people in attendance.

Plan is delighted that the event raised €20,000 for its girl friendly schools project in Togo which is helping girls to receive education in the West African country.
