Five Good Reasons to Sponsor a Child through Plan Ireland

1 Plan Ireland funding is used for community based projects such as child immunisation programmes, school building projects and providing safe, clean water supplies. All our funding goes on projects which make a real and tangible difference to the lives of children and their families.

2 For every child sponsored, nine additional people are supported and given the chance of a brighter future in their local communities.

3 8,000 Irish families already sponsor children and receive regular updates from their sponsored child as well as photos and progress reports from Plan volunteers.

4 Plan Ireland’s long term commitment to each community ensures that progress is sustained and built upon to ensure the benefits of this sponsorship are available to future generations.
